Importing email from Outlook and Office365

Slickalpha mailspaces support importing email from Outlook and Office365 using IMAP protocol. If multi-factor authentication is not enabled in your Outlook account, you can skip to step 2 and use your Outlook credentials to validate and import email to your Slickalpha mailbox.

1. Setup app passwords for your Outlook/Office365 account

  1. If you are importing from your personal Outlook account, follow instructions in this Microsoft documentation to generate your app password.
  2. If you are importing from your work Outlook/Office364 account, follow instructions in this Microsoft documentation to generate your app password.
  3. This app password should be used to validate and import email, instead of your Outlook account password.

2. Validate source login using IMAP analyzer

  1. Visit our free IMAP analyzer tool and validate your Outlook credentials.
  2. If your credentials are validated successfully, Mailbox login test should be marked as pass. You can now use these credentials to import email to Slickalpha mailbox.
