Using SlickAlpha DNS, you can easily import public DNS records from the web, and make automated entries for your mailspace subscriptions.

Domain verification helps us make sure that you own the domain name. Domain verification also helps verify that your DNS configuration is correct and that the DNS records resolve correctly.

SlickAlpha DNS is a free DNS hosting solution that allows you to host and manage your domain's DNS records. You can read our documentation on setting up SlickAlpha DNS, to learn more about how to configure your domain.

Presently, we support all widely used record types such as A, AAAA, CNAME, TXT, MX and SRV. We are working to support additional DNS record types.

When you add a domain name to your SlickAlpha account with SlickAlpha DNS turned on, our systems look up your public DNS records online.

To effectively use DNS imports, check for missing records after you import your DNS records, and then change your nameservers on your domain registrar's website, after importing your existing DNS records.

Business Email

Email is crucial for business communications. Businesses require two email setups: one for receiving and responding to official email (also known as business email or webmail or custom email) and another for marketing and sending newsletters (also known as bulk mail or promotional email). Our business email solution gives you a secure and flexible way to send official business communications.

A storage pool is the amount of storage space that a mailspace can share between its mailboxes. You can limit the amount of storage space each mailbox can consume on a mailspace subscription. Storage pools can be scaled up instantly using mailspace add-ons.

We offer a business email solution that can be used solely for official business communications, and to communicate with your business prospects. Our service should not be used for "bulk"/marketing emails or be confused with "anonymous" email services.

Our Mailspaces are base subscriptions that allocate email storage and access to you on our cloud for your domain.

Mailboxes are individual email addresses (like name@domain.com) used for sending and receiving email, with storage allocated from it's mailspace. Each mailspace comes with a set of free mailboxes. You can increase the mailboxes available to your mailspace, by upgrading it or by using add-ons.

Aliases are email addresses that can forward email to your mailbox, but cannot send email or have email storage on their own.

All our business email solutions come with effective spam protections. Our anti-spam systems are highly accurate when it comes to detecting spam and junk emails, with a success rate of up to 99%. This means you can be sure that your inbox will remain free of any unwanted and potentially malicious emails.

To ensure that our network is available to all our patrons, we use sending limits and spam filters to filter out outgoing emails. However, our sending limits are rarely exceeded on everyday usage, which is tied to efficient usage rather than strict limits.

Email Pricing

To start using our email services, you will require a mailspace base subscription. Mailspace subscriptions are the bare minimum base plan packages that can be upgraded with add-ons. It is important to note that startup plans cannot be upgraded to business plans at this time.

All our product subscriptions require upfront payment, without any long-term obligation. The contract terms are limited to the payment made and if you are not satisfied with our products, we also offer a 30-day full refund policy. We also offer a 30-day free trial for mailspace subscriptions, without any risk or commitment.

Furthermore, when you cancel select subscriptions after 30 days, we also offer prorated credit refunds in the form of account credits, which can you used to purchase on our platform. You can check if your order qualifies for a refund by clicking the Cancel button on the order details page.

Mailspace and add-on subscriptions are available for varying durations, starting from a month to 3 years. Subscriptions can be extended through renewals. If subscriptions are not renewed before they expire, they are automatically canceled after a 45-day grace period.

Based on the size of your project or organization, you may choose between startup and business subscriptions. Our flexible add-ons allow you to scale all mailspace subscriptions, which can be canceled anytime when you don't need them. It is important to note that startup plans cannot be upgraded to business plans at this time.

Email Transfers

Importing email to your SlickAlpha mailbox is easy. Read our documentation on importing email to SlickAlpha to start your email imports.

If you have less than 100 MB of email (1000 text messages), the import process should complete within a few minutes. If our system is unable to import larger mailboxes in one go, the process will return to the Partial state. The Partial state allows you to access your mailbox and automatically retries import in 24 hours. Once the import is complete, the import process will be marked as Completed.

You can configure the automatic processing of email imports to take place every 24 hours. After completing each import, the import process will be marked as Active. This feature is available only on Business mailspaces.

You can import email from any personal email service like Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, and Yahoo that provides IMAP access. Read our documentation on how to import email from Gmail for more information.

Your mailbox will be placed in the Locked state to prevent data loss and data corruption. However, during this state, only the mailbox login is locked, and incoming email get processed as usual.

When you queue a request to import, you have up to 5 minutes to cancel it. Thereafter, the process will run to completion.

Payments

We accept all major cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Credit card payments are processed securely on our platform through the Stripe payment gateway. Now you can also make payments through PayPal.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee and automated full refunds on all payments made using cards and PayPal. When you cancel select subscriptions, such as mailspaces, beyond 30 days, we also offer prorated credit refunds in the form of account credits, which can you used to purchase on our platform. You can check if your order qualifies for a refund by clicking the Cancel button on the order details page.

The account balance is a wallet-like currency that can be used for your purchases. The withdrawal of your account balance is not supported.

Upon authorization of payment, each cart checkout is processed as a one-time charge. Therefore, payments on our platform must be re-authorized at each checkout. SlickAlpha does not store your card information.

Coupon codes and bonus credits can be used to get a discount. When you purchase an annual subscription, discount coupons will automatically be applied at checkout.

Bonus credits are limited-use tokens that can be used to avail of discounts (up to 90%) on select products and services.
